About Us

PCUP is a recognized leader for its expertise in the field of specimen collections.  We've partnered with certified laboratories for drug and alcohol testing.  Our educational training has been on-going for more than seventeen years in business, serving private and federal workplace safety programs.

PCUP specializes in mobile collection services for drug, alcohol and DNA testing.  These services are available in our office, mobile unit or on-site at your facility.  We offer these services to save employers time and money by minimizing disruption to employees and work schedules.  In addition, we provide employers with educational resources regarding reasonable suspicion and post-accident requirements in drug and alcohol detection.

Our services include all forms of testing: Laboratory-based testing and quick screens, paternity and environmental exposure testing.  We also offer custom panels for steroids and designer date rape drugs.  Our mission is to provide accurate, confidential and reliable test results.

About 80% of our drug testing is performed in the lab. That process begins when a donor gives a urine, saliva, blood, hair or even nail samples at a collection site. The collector sends the sample overnight to a laboratory to undergo screening (immunoassay analysis) or enzyme immunoassay (EIA). If the initial test is non-negative, the sample goes for further testing by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) to confirm the results.

Once the result is determined a non-negative by the lab, it is sent electronically to one of our Medical Review Officers (MROs)where it is reviewed. Our Medical Review Officers are licensed physicians who have knowledge of substance abuse and are certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers (AAMRO).

PCUP provides all types of drug testing: workplace, school, court ordered, or personal.
